Frequently Asked Questions

When can I get my kitten?

Kittens will go to their new homes at approximately 13 -14 weeks of age depending upon the date of their spay/neuter surgery and gender.

How much are the kittens?

  • Pet contract Ragdolls $2000.
  • Show quality as show alter $2400.
  • Chocolate and Lilac add $200 to above prices
  • Non-refundable deposit of $300.

Do you have a wait list?

No, you must check back with me when litters are available for adoption. I do not take deposits/reservations for kittens that are not born yet.

What colour and patterns do you have?

  • Colours: Blue mainly, but occassionally seal, lilac and chocolate.
  • Patterns: Bi Colour Point, Mitt Point and Point.
  • Lynx: I do not have any lynx genes in my breeding cats and do not produce it.
  • FritzNKitz Ragdolls only produces Traditional Ragdolls (no solids, mink, or sepia)

Why do they cost so much?

By the time they go to their forever home, the kittens will have
  • had at least 3 health checks with a Veterinarian
  • all the vaccinations required for the next year
  • been microchipped
  • been spayed or neutered
  • a five year health guarantee against lethal genetic defects
  • registration with either CCA, CFA, or TICA
  • consumed a lot of food!
The kittens come from cats that are well bred to the breed standard for Ragdolls and are (often) Champion cats, often with more additional titles (it is not possible to get titles during a pandemic due to no cat shows). Breeding cats of quality is not cheap!

What are accepted forms of payment?

  • emt
  • cash

Do you ship?

  • I do not offer flight services, but for a fee will deliver within one hour of Waterloo.

Are there any other goodies that come with the kitten?

  • Kitten Kit from Royal Canin which includes 1 small bag of food and one can of food (as long as they are not back ordered!)
  • Six weeks free pet health insurance offered by Petsecure
  • a blankie to remind them of mom
  • Toys

Do you have your breeding cats tested?

  • DNA testing is done for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy gene (HCM) and PKD. All breeding cats are DNA HCM & PKD tested negative.
  • Breeding cats are tested negative for the FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).

Do you have any weird conditions?

Not so weird. Just the ones that most Ragdoll breeders have.
  • The kittens can not be declawed at any time in their life. This will be in the contract
  • If you've done your reasearch, you would know that Ragdolls are a gentle breed and lack the instincts to defend themselves, so must be an "indoor" cat.
  • I want to chat with you before accepting a deposit on a kitten. I need to make sure that you're a good fit for one of my precious babies.

Do you allow for kitten visits?

  • Not during the pandemic!
  • I will keep a facebook public album updated regularly with photos and videos of the litter.

Where are you located??

FritzNKitz is located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada -- about a 3 minute drive north of the new Costco.

Do you have an Adoption Form?

YES! How'd you miss it? It's in the kitten menu, but you can use the link in this question to get there too.
